My journey to coaching

I first discovered coaching back in 2016 on a personal effectiveness course. This was the start of process of seriously addressing problems of confidence and self-worth, particularly at work. I have worked with several coaches over the years to help me navigate changes in jobs, decision making, stress and burnout and managing living with Crohn’s disease. My passion to help others in the way I have been helped, led me to train to be an adult trainer with the Russbridge and started to deliver training courses in 2022. I wanted to work with people one to one as well as in groups so enrolled on Barefoot Academy’s flagship six month training programme in Business & Personal Development Coaching, completing it in February 2024. This is a very thorough and wide ranging training programme, accredited to the International Coaching Federation. As well as ongoing development, I receive regular supervision.

If you are interested in exploring one to one coaching further……

I invite you to book a free 30 minute exploratory session. We can talk through what you hope to gain through coaching and you may then decide whether coaching is right for you at this time and whether you would like to work with me. Sessions are usually fortnightly but may be monthly depending on your goals and time commitments. I offer coaching at The Wellness Centre in Northallerton, at Holy Rood House Centre for Health and Pastoral Care in Thirsk and online via Zoom.

I am offering an introductory rate of £60 per hour session or £50 per session if you book a block of five sessions together.
